Jessica Purgett is the editor and founder of The Mark Literary Review. She graduated from Mount Mercy University in 2020 with majors in English and marketing. She minored in Spanish and creative writing. Currently, she works as a Social Media Specialist. She is published in Paha Review, Ice Lolly Review, and Sledgehammer Lit.
Evander Lang is a writer and filmmaker. He’s worked on TV shows for HBO, Bravo, TLC, etc. Justin Theroux once rode past him on a Razor scooter. His work has appeared in The Satirist and is forthcoming in Five on the Fifth and Willows Wept Review.

Mer Fenton is a writer from Columbus, Ohio. She is currently studying multimedia journalism and creative writing at Taylor University. Mer was raised by Scholastic's book forums and Hello Poetry. She is passionate about colored lights, large bodies of water, and all things emo culture. Mer spent the first half of 2021 as an editorial assistant on Relief Journal, and has been published in Parnassus.
