Sign Megha Sood

Writer's picture: The Mark Literary ReviewThe Mark Literary Review

This winding street

in front of my lonely house reminds

me of the winding noose which went

around his neck and

did not spare him.

Like a sparrow with a broken neck,

he stopped chirping.

That winding black track

ends in the front of my house.

Is that a sign?
